2008
Printed labels with clear tape protection
Testing with 100% loads and overloads

Switched to 100% electric start (most units have recoil start also)
Much more labeling on the vehicle
Switched to grade 8 bolts at high stress areas
Increased strength with 3”x3” tube on mono-fork
Began drying wood prior to bed assembly (resulting in stronger cargo bed with less gaps)
Added International Slow Moving Vehicle sign (orange triangle to back)

Powerdeck revised – easier to service and more protection

Finger throttle – more control
Steel cornered bed – more carriage bolts (less screws).
New hubs and new spindles on front end.
New steering handlebar design protects driver better (more give)
Temporary “hold” brake added for driver convenience/safety
Switched from #40 to #50 chain (heavier duty)
Stronger steering head
Switched from set-screw collars to split collars
More red reflectors on rear and white/yellow reflectors on front/sides
Mud guard with 45 degree front (helps deflect objects from rear wheel)

Foam “floatie” cushion on handle bars
Grip tape on brake pedal
Single seat driver (instead of bench seat)
Removed hinged tailgate (less pinch points)

Raised foot deck – more comfort (more safe on long rides) and reinforced frame
