Inside Indiana Business TV interviews IAT Director. IAT displays two vehicles at the Urbana '03 Missions Conference in Champaign, Illinois.

November 2003

First BUV built by a church heads for Living Water International training camp (water well-drilling for church groups) and eventual service in Central America. Drilling equipment will be installed in the cargo bed.

September 2003

Gulf News (Dubaii) article on BUV. 2004 Design Specification released to focus colleges on a front-wheel drive application. Separately, IAT contracts the building of 10 BUVs for placement in Central America.

August 2003

IUPUI (Purdue-Indianapolis) to co-host the Collegiate BUV Competition on May 8, 2004.

July 2003

Executive Director attends Harvard University course “Making Markets Work” in South Africa and shares BUV project with African business/government leaders.

IAT meets with the World Bank in Washington D.C. to discuss locations for pilot projects.

Southern Alberta Institute of Technology wins the 3rd Annual BUV Competition and are featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Network (CBN). Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (2nd place); University of Missouri (3rd place).
