IAT has a vision for entrepreneurship and sustainability within the countries that it seeks to serve. By enabling a vehicle to be manufactured throughout Africa, you can lend a compassionate hand to the poor, while providing a tool that bestows economic opportunity and the dignity of work to the people in developing countries.
IAT encourages a “business as missions” approach to enable Christians to operate a unique business unto the glory of God. The business generates a needed product, funding for ministry, and serves as a witness as it is run according to biblical principles.
The local factory ministers to its employees, the community, and the end consumers. These factories produce BUVs locally, reducing shipping costs from the U.S. and providing jobs and economic growth small villages. Our vision is to have hundreds of independently owned Christian businesses in the developing world that build and sell Basic Utility Vehicles for profit. For Western businesspeople there are opportunities to fund partnerships to start BUV factories in the countries that BUVs have had success. IAT actively seeks Partners both for-profit entreprenuers, NGOs, and Christian businessmen with a proven track record and the respect for their community.
BUV Partner Testimonial:
“I am so convinced that running ministry through enterprise is the long-term solution. Everyday we hear “what you are about is what we have been praying about for years.”
