Dr. Steven Rundle
2009 IAT Annual Banquet

Dr. Steven Rundle, co-author of Great Commission Companies, was the guest speaker at the 2009 IAT Annual Banquet on October 16th held at the beautiful Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis.  Here are some of his statements:

“That’s why I’m so impressed with the IAT. While the institute itself is a nonprofit organization, it understands the critical need to stimulate local industry. Whether you’re talking about a single BUV that becomes a source of income for a local pastor, or a factory built with private capital, these ultimately have the potential of becoming self-sustaining businesses, and that in itself is truly innovative.”

“Another thing I admire is that they are truly holistic in their approach, seeking to meet the economic, social and spiritual needs of a community. I believe the Bible is clear that authentic kingdom transformation involves all three of these.”

“In a similar way, BUVs and its BUV mini-factories are not only improving the lives of some of the poorest people in the world, but they are beacons of light in very dark places. They attract attention to the God who loves them and sent his son to make a personal relationship possible with them.”

We are grateful for Dr. Rundle’s kind comments about the mission of the BUV Ministry which is “improving the lives of the world’s poor by providing simple, low-cost vehicles to facilitate community transformation.”
