A Note from Ron

Ron Lively is an IAT partner and founder of the Healthy Initiatives Ministry (H.I.M) based out of Nashville, TN.  Ron’s plan is to implement a BUV Delivery Service (BDS) Program with a Business Mission Institute (BMI)  that will increase sales and awareness of the long-term value of the basic utility vehicle. Also, the business institute will aim to empower young entrepreneurs in developing countries

Ron shares with us the heart behind the process of developing this new program for the BUV ministry -

“The BUV Mission is contagious!  At least it was for me. My first introduction to the BUV was at the Global Missons Health Conference in Louisville, KY in 2005.  Then our ministry (HIM) became an IAT Partner.  We attended the next annual BUV Banquet. Shortly after, we sent a BUV to Haiti where it is being used for waste management in Carrefour.  Then we assisted to send two more BUVs to the Mayor of Port-au-Prince for the same purpose.  Lately, we processed an order for 4 BUVs to go to a ministry called Free The Kids.

I have been privileged to help IAT with videos, marketing, development, and some administrative work.  After developing the Send-a-BUV program and then realizing the challenges to building a micro-factory, I was led to develop the BDS along with the BMI program which will accomplish so many goals as well as set the stage for a future BUV micro-factory.

Join me in this mission of seeing God use such a basic utility vehicle to accomplish so much to help proclaim the Gospel and advance the Kingdom of God globally in so many applications like healthcare, agriculture and more.

In regard to the BUV Delivery Service and the Business Mission Institute, – business plans are in process.  Lenders and investors are being invited to consider a 3 to 5 year investment opportunity that offers men and women jobs with salaries in developing countries, delivery services that generate revenues, support for local host ministries and organizations and so much more.  With your help, we have a doable mission but it will take us all working as a team.

I am praying for the men and women who will be selected by trustworthy business and community leaders to become students at a business institute and then operators of the  BUVs.  Training that they will receive at the BMI may be their only structured educational opportunity after high school.  Pray with me for the success of these programs in Haiti, throughout Africa and in many developing countries.  Then send me an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   if you are interested in joining my team to accompish this mission.”   -  By God's Grace, Ron
