BUV is an award winner for the Indiana Innovation Awards to be held on Oct 17, 2012. BUV won the award based on the truss-frame BUV which is designed for Africa production. The truss frame is made out of angle iron and aimed at carrying passengers rather than cargo. The truss members can be produced in 6 meter sections and sold for secondary uses such building construction (i.e. a roof or floor truss for a rural medical clinic, school, or church). IAT is thankful to Centric, Indy’s Innovation Network, for organizing the event.
